Accommodation details

Johanna & David extend a warm welcome to their guests. Their dog friendly bed and breakfast accommodation Threadneedle is situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park, close to the country town of Dulverton.

Threadneedle B and B is the ideal place to relax in comfort and savour the delights of life on Exmoor. Our resident Shetland sheepdogs, Scamp and Jazz love meeting new dogs and their owners.

Johanna has been nominated as one of the AA Landladies Of The Year in 1999, 2002 and 2006.

Threadneedle Exmoor, B and B is set in 3 acres and is built in the style of a Devon longhouse. It has full central heating and spacious well appointed en-suite accommodation. The bedrooms, The Duck House and Piggies are individually furnished and both have digital televisions and hospitality trays.

Threadneedle B and B has block built stables and a large stable yard, which makes it ideal for guests wishing to bring their horses on holiday with them, and discover Exmoor on horseback. Do-it-yourself livery bedding and feed are available by arrangement.

The Bedrooms

The Duck House is on the site of the original building which was used by local farmers to house the ducks and geese prior to them being sold at the market. It has an en-suite double width shower and a King size bed which can be readily adapted to twin beds. En-suite facilities, hospitality tray and digital T.V.

The Piggies - you share this room with some of Johanna’s ornamental pigs, which she has collected over the years. This spacious double room has en-suite facilities. The early morning sun greets you as you wake.

Relax and enjoy your first brew of the day and savour the view across the fields and open countryside. Smoking is not permitted in bedrooms.

The Dining Room

Our award winning food is served in the light and airy dining room, which overlooks the garden and surrounding fields. Menus are planned making use of local and homegrown produce to create favourite regional dishes.

The generous breakfasts leave most guests replete and ready to enjoy their day exploring Exmoor. Meals are planned taking into account guests’ dietary needs.
