The Red Lion is set in the heart of one of Devon's most tranquil and prettiest villages; Dittisham which is just 5 miles from Dartmouth.
Offering superior Bed & Breakfast en-suite accommodation in this 18th century village Inn in Dittisham. This is a traditional pub with log fires, real ales, and serving home cooked food.
Dittisham Village boarders the 11 mile estuary of the River Dart. This beautiful region, part of Devon's South Hams, enjoys the mildest climate in mainland Britain and makes a perfect holiday location at any time of year. It is renowned for sailing and a variety of craft are available for hire locally.
Staying Bed & Breakfast here at the Inn means you are well placed to visit two Steam Railways, Dartmoor National Park, The National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, The Eden Project and many other attractions. There are no less than 4 golf courses nearby (with a 25% discount on both Green Fees and entry to the Fitness Club, to our guests, at the Dartmouth Golf & Country Club), as well as numerous beaches. But for some, the real attractions of Dittisham lie in its peace and tranquility and in the unspoilt beauty of the surrounding countryside. South Hams is perfect walking country and is popular with walkers, ramblers and rambling associations.

The Red Lion has been offering generous hospitality since 1750 when it was a coaching house. That tradition continues today with the Red Lion's high quality hotel accommodation.
We offer bed and breakfast in our lovely en-suite rooms all of which enjoy central heating, tea making facilities and TV.
Three of the guest rooms at the Red Lion Inn have outstanding views of the river Dart and they have bathrooms equipped with baths and power showers.
We have 6 guest rooms of which 5 are doubles and 1 is a twin. All prices in our tariff are per room and include VAT. Single occupancy is at a reduced rate.
