Midways Cottage is a charming old fisherman’s cottage dating back to 1815 in the conservation area of the beautiful village of Noss Mayo. Built on the hillside, Midways Cottage is conveniently placed for the River Yealm creek and just a short walk from the water's edge, children's play area and local amenities.

Noss Mayo offers a choice of stunning coastal walks with breathtaking views and is within easy driving distance of beautiful sandy beaches. There are a number of local pubs offering excellent food, plus a unique tea room well worth a visit.

The cottage has been completely and sympathetically refurbished in early 2008 to a very high standard providing modern amenities but at the same time retaining its charm and character.

All crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils provided. Duvets, pillows, and linen included, but no towels. 

The cottage is a short drive from the sandy beaches of Mothecombe (5 miles), Bigbury and Burgh Island (12 miles), and Bantham (15 miles). There are several golf courses nearby including Thurlestone, riding stables in Newton Ferrers, and a National Trust property at Saltram House.

Plymouth, Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Modbury with their excellent range of shops and restaurants are all within reach.

Noss Mayo is about 10 miles to the east of Plymouth, and 20 miles to the west of Salcombe. Newton Ferrers with its shops is either a 5 minute walk at low tide (via the "Voss") or approximately 1 mile by road
