Prepare to be enchanted. Jenny and her family have been going to Bucks Mills for family holidays for over 30 years. A paradise of dramatic cliffs, wild flowers, hills, valleys and beaches lapped by crystal clear waters.

So captivated with this paradise, that several years ago, Jenny’s family bought Mark’s Cottage and is now offering it as a self-catering holiday home for you to enjoy.

This picturesque fisherman’s cottage is what childhood memories are made of. Walk to the beach to spend lazy days fishing, prawning, swimming, building sandcastles or just messing around in the rock pools. The cottage is nestled in the traditional rural fishing village of Bucks Mills, which is situated within the North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Surrounded by National Woodlands Trust, a walkers paradise, only steps to magnificent coastal clifftop walks and winding woodland paths. Enjoy a wealth of local tourist attractions in the area. THE BIG SHEEP comes highly recommended as does Clovelly, Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal, Killarney Springs and more.

Mark’ s Cottage was built in the early 1800′s and has recently been refurbished and upgraded to include central heating, offers 4 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 2 bunks.

The bathroom now includes a Jacuzzi bath with a shower over it, and a toilet. In addition there is a separate shower wet room also with a toilet.

The new kitchen has an oil-fired Redfyre stove (its easy to use we promise and makes for a cosy cottage in winter). There is also a microwave / convection cooker, washer /dryer, dishwasher, fridge / freezer and many useful extras. Roast your toes in front of the wood burning stove in the lounge, which comes with a TV/DVD player for rainy days.

Bed linen included. Towels available upon request. Regret no pets. No smoking in the property please. Enclosed front garden. Beach is walking distance.
